Common name: Weeping willow.

Brief description: A medium-sized, dioecious tree with weeping branches that are long, slender, olivaceous to yellow-brown, glabrous. Leaves are lance-linear, simple, alternate, entire, glabrous, yellowish-green above, glaucous beneath, margins unevenly spinulose-serrulate; the petioles are tomentose, glandular above the tip. Flowers are unisexual, in catkins with the leaves, on peduncles. Fruits are narrowly ovoid, sessile capsule. 

Campus data: Rarely cultivated on campus. About five individuals present
