These are some digiscoped images from my stay in the Flathead Valley of Montana during the summer of 2002. The first three were taken at the home of my sister-in-law in the West Valley area. The Bald Eagle, Osprey, and Sandhill Crane were photographed at Smith Lake Waterfowl Production area. The red dragonfly was found at Swan River NWR. I found that dragonflies are much more cooperative photographic subjects than most of the birds I've run across.
