Personal Information

Both sides of my family, the Barnetts and the Halls, come from northwest (upcountry) South Carolina. They also both seem to have connections with Virginia, as well. Before that, the lore I have puts everyone in various parts of the British Isles, with the exception of one set of Martins (originally Merten), who were from Germany. Surnames of interest: Addis, Campbell, Goolsby, Hall, Lanford, McClure, Martin, Parsons, Page, Skinner. Right now I don't have a lot to offer other genealogists beyond secondary information from a great aunt who has been the family historian for years, but I welcome information for others who share an interest in these families.
