Research

My research interests are in exploring the boundaries between hardware, operating systems, and compilers in future chip multiprocessors. This work includes examining the memory system demands of data intensive commercial applications.

I have an identical twin sister in the CS Ph.D. program at the University of Washington.
I swim, horseback ride, do yoga, and do lots and lots of walking/hiking with my Golden Retriever DB.
Because I believe strongly in the importance of community and helping others, I volunteer with the Chesterfield County Police Department , regularly donate blood, and frequent a farmers' market (including a CSA) and other local businesses.
