On Seven Cibachrome Prints:

Chosen from a body of work that was done between 1992 and 1994, these seven Cibachrome prints explore the Cibachrome process as an output medium for electronic art. The works chosen reflect a desire to explore the faithfulness in the transfer of color and composition. Here electronic versions of these prints are rendered in the original 4 1/2" x 4 3/4" size they were photographed at.

All of these prints are rooted in my desire as a mathematician and computer scientist to find a more comfortable venue for communicating my creativity and expressiveness to the world at large, and for me personally to document in abstract form a chronology of feelings and emotions. I am often struck by their intensity and power, surprised by their variety, and confused by their idealistic character. Though there may be no unifying interpretation, these pieces offer examples of ideas which will require further development in the future.
